Within the scope of the use of this website, your personal data is processed by us as data controller and stored for the duration required for fulfilling the predetermined purposes and statutory obligations. In the following, we inform you about the data concerned, the manner in which they are processed and about the rights to which you are entitled in this regard.

According to Art. 4 No. 1 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

2.  Processing of personal data and purpose of processing

When visiting our website

You can access the website http://www.sports-ce.com/en/ without providing any information on your identity. The browser used on your terminal merely automatically sends information to our website server (e.g. browser type and version, data and time of access) to enable the establishment of the connection to the website. This also includes the IP address of your requesting terminal. This will be temporarily stored in a so-called logfile, and automatically deleted after the purpose has been fulfilled:

The IP address is processed for technical and administrative purposes of establishing and stabilising the connection, to ensure the security and functionality of our website and to be able to trace any illegal attacks.

The relevant legal basis for processing the IP address is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the mentioned security interest and requirement of trouble-free provision of our website.

We cannot draw any direct conclusions on your identity from the processing of the IP address and other information in the logfile.

 

3.  Transfer of personal data to third persons

Except in the mentioned cases of contract processing, we transfer your personal data to third parties only:

  • if you expressly granted your consent according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR,
  • if this is required according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR for the performance of a contract with you,
  • for the case that the transfer is required for compliance with a legal obligation according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c) GDPR.

The transferred data may be used by the third party exclusively for the stated purposes.

Any transfer of personal data to a third country (outside of the EU) or any international organization is excluded, subject to the data processing stated under clause 5.

 

4.  Rights of data subjects

You are entitled:

  • according to Art. 7 (3) GDPR to withdraw your consent at any time. This means that we are in the future no longer allowed to process the data based on such consent;
  • according to Art. 15 GDPR to obtain information on your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information on the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, the existence of the right to request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the right to lodge a complaint, the source of your data if not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision making, including profiling and if applicable meaningful information on details;
  • according to Art. 16 GDPR to request prompt rectification of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us;
  • according to Art. 17 GDPR to request the erasure of the personal data stored by us, unless the processing is required for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;
  • according to Art. 18 GDPR to request the restriction of processing of your personal data, insofar as you contest the accuracy of the personal data, the processing is unlawful, but you oppose erasure and we no longer need the data, but you require them to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or you objected to the processing according to Art. 21 GDPR;
  • according to Art. 20 GDPR to request to receive your personal data provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or request transmission of those data to another controller;
  • according to Art. 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule you can for this purpose contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of abode or workplace, or at our company's registered office.

Information on your right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR

You are at any time entitled, for reasons resulting from your particular situation, to object to the processing of your personal data made on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. e) GDPR (data processing in the public interest) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR (data processing on the basis of a weighing of interests); this also applies to a profiling of Art. 4 No. 4 GDPR based on this regulation.

If you file an objection, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we can prove compelling legitimate reasons for the processing which prevail over your interests, rights and freedoms or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend against legal claims.

If your objection is directed against the processing of data for direct advertising purposes, we will immediately stop processing. In this case, the statement of any particular situation is not required. This also applies to the profiling, to the extent it relates to such direct advertising.

5.  Data security

All data personally provided by you are transferred in encrypted form with the generally customary and secure standard TLS (Transport Layer Security). TLS is a secure and tested standard which is for example also applied in online banking. You can inter alia identify a secure TLS connection by the s affixed to the http (i.e. https://..) in the address bar of your browser or by the lock symbol in the lower part of your browser.

Besides, we use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulations, partial or full loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are constantly improved in accordance with new technological developments.

 

6.  Up-to-dateness and amendment of this Data Protection Statement

This Data Protection Statement is currently valid as at May 2018.

Owing to further development of our website and offers relating thereto, or due to changed statutory or regulatory requirements, it may become necessary to amend this Data Protection Statement. The relevant up-to-date Data Protection Statement can at any time be retrieved and printed out from our website.
